Dr. Lori Jaramillo graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
During her study, Dr. Jaramillo resided in St. Kitts with her husband Richie and their two children, Brooke and Chase. As a southern California native, she returned to the area after receiving her veterinary doctorate to begin practicing medicine in various clinics around the state. This provided an incredible opportunity for her to enhance her knowledge and gain experience in treating dogs, cats, as well as exotics. She was also able to perfect her skills in soft-tissue surgery and emergency medicine.
After years of hearing that people were left unsatisfied with high-cost veterinary bills and dishonest medicine, Dr. Jaramillo and Richie decided to embark on a new adventure and open up their own veterinary hospital. With help from their loved ones, these high school sweethearts built Family Animal Hospital from the ground up in 2013.
